Standard
6 Intelligent tank discharge control strategy
  • System prevents simultaneous discharge of both tanks under any circumstances.

  • System controls interval between tank 1 and tank 2 discharges, to minimize the impact of vacuum pressure changes during discharge cycles.

  • Back up control strategy allows system to continue operation in the event that any part of the tank level sensing equipment becomes compromised.
Standard
7 Interface with, and response to, status of Normal vs. Emergency Power source for Vac Center
  • Delays system start until source of power is stabilized.

  • Allows quantity of pumps that can operate under emergency power conditions to be field selected.

  • Runs selected quantity of pumps continuously when on Emergency power to minimize impact on generating equipment.
Standard
8 Demand based pump run sequencing
  • Reduced utility consumption.

  • Reduced pump maintenance and increased pump longevity.
Standard
9 Duplex pump systems provided with Triplex pump control panels
  • Allows simple method to increase capacity of system to accommodate expansion of store and/or type of loads connected.
Standard
10 Soft Start Starters
  • Helpful in minimizing impact of vacuum pumps on emergency power generating equipment.
Standard
11 Modem
  • Allows Vac Center to dial an external service center or individual if an alarm persists without local acknowledgment.

  • Allows service personnel to dial into the system to determine the nature of the alarm condition and take appropriate action prior to arrival at the facility if possible.

  • Allows historical data to be collected from a remote location.
Option
12 Ethernet Port
  • Alternative method for communicating with the system remotely.
Option
13 Tank level transducers at Vac Center in lieu of float switches
  • Improves accuracy of historical data recording.

  • Allows exact status of tanks to be monitored continuously.
Option
14 Pump Ampere Monitoring
  • Allows actual amperage of each pump to be monitored continuously. Useful for detecting a number of pump ailments.
Option
15 Pump kW Monitoring
  • Allows the actual power consumption of the pumps to be monitored continuously. Provides an improved view of pump health.
Option
16 Touchscreen Operator Interface Panel
  • Allows improved display of Vac Center operating characteristics including setpoint descriptions, alarm history, and presentation of historical data.

  • Allows vacuum pressure (and other analog signals) to be graphed over time.  Useful for trouble shooting.

  • Basic Operating Manual for Vac Center included on display screens.
Option
17 Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system; Windows based and implemented on panel mounted or desktop computer.
  • Complete graphical representation of the system.

  • Automatic report generation.

MASTER-TROL™ Electronic Valve System
The Master-Trol Electronic Valve Control System (optional) can be used to further enhance the capability of the vacuum plumbing system. It can be used to enable or disable multiple water valves, and increase or decrease metering or lockout times of each valve. This kind of control helps improve security, reduce water usage, maintenance and operating costs.
