• Research Reveals the Speed & Trajectory of Toilet Plumes

  Researchers from the UC Boulder environmental engineering program have found that airborne particles released by a traditional gravity toilet’s flush plume travel at speeds of 6.6 feet per second and can reach as high as 5 feet within 8 seconds.
